which hearing aid must I buy?

is it true that all hearing aids are the same basically? that all the manufactuerers have the different types for inside or outside the ear and they are all the same. so if i dont have to buy the most expensive one?

That statement is not true at all. There are differences between manufactures but the greatest differences are in the technology levels (price related). There is unlimited research providing information on the fact that patients receive greater benefit from higher levels of technology in their hearing aids.

The most important issues is not the price though - it is to match you exact needs to the correct technology choice for you. Your needs will include, audiological results, readiness and motivation, lifestyle, experience, physical factors, personal preference and then also finance.
