Q.

Testing function of auditory nerve

Is there a way of testing if an auditory nerve is still functional, bypassing the middle ear and cochlea?

Dear Maria

Yes there is - you can speak to your Audiologist. We can do a battery of tests that can give us an indication of each part of the hearing system. If you don't have an Audiologist, please let me know and i will gladly refer you to someone in your area. You can reach me at izabelle@widex.co.za.

Please let me know if you need any further information

Kind regards
