i developed earcanal infection where my ear was swolen shut.
after that i had middile ear infection. They but grommets in and 2 days later i couldnt even sleep it was draining so much it was watery blood about 50 mil and then i started lossing my hearing and i couldnt even feel the cotton in my ear. I also defelopeved a stiff neck and headache. Sound would kill me. They then did a mastroiddecktomy and lumber punch and said i had enchafolites as well. My eardrained for 2 weeks after that severly. Its been a month and it is still draining when i laydown. And i have this wooshing sound in my ear all the time. but i can hear. How long is your ear surpose to drain, is it normal? Its just like water some times with specs of yellow.

Dear Nikita

I would strongly recommend that you go back to your doctor and if you are not seeing an Ear, Nose and throat specialist, please do so. The drainage can go on for an extended period but it is very important to make sure that the mastoiditis is cleared up and to make sure what the cause of the problem was. Please don't let this go on without further treatment

Please let me know if you have any further questions

Kind regards
