Loud speaking

My 4 yr old speaks very loud at times &  when he''s asked to speak softer or stop shouting he doesn''t realise that he was doing that. Could he have a hearing problem? He has often had throat &  chest infections. He was born at 36 weeks.

Dear Elmien

It is very important to have his hearing and middle ear functioning evaluated as soon as possible. You will need to see an Audiologist. Please let me know if you need a referral to someone in your area (izabellepieterse@gmail.com) and i will gladly give you the detail of someone that is used to working with children. The symptoms that you are referring to may be related to hearing. The important thing is to get to the root of the problem as soon as possible

Kind regards
Izabelle Pieterse
