Q.

hearing loss

Hi

I have recently noticed that my hearing in my left ear is slightly better then my right ear. Is this normal? if not could it mean my hearing will get progressively worse?

Many thanks

Dear Peter

Most of us have different hearing levels between our two ears - it is however very important to have your hearing evaluated on a regular basis. If you suddenly noticed the difference it implicates that there has been a significant enough sudden change - i would strongly advise that you have a full hearing evaluation by an Audiologist. If you don't know of someone in your area, please let me know and i will gladly refer you (izabelle@widex.co.za)

Please let me know if you need any further information

Kind regards
