Does not happen frequently. Perhaps once or twice a month.
I hear a beating sound on my right hear. This sound is now in the ears for the last 24 hrs. What is it?

Dear Mervin

There are a number of possibilities for the problem that you are experiencing. I would recommend that you start with a general check up at your doctor and let him/her evaluate your ear as well. Also remember to have your blood pressure checked. If necessary he/she will be able to refer you for further evaluation by a specialist.

After you have confirmed that all medical possibilities are out of the way, i would recommend that you have a hearing evaluation done by an Audiologist. If you don't know of someone in your area, please let me know and i will gladly refer you (izabelle@widex.co.za)

Please let me know if you need any further information

Kind regards
