drumming in ear

Good morning,

Hope you can help me. I' ve been having occasional drumming my right hear, that lasts about 10 minutes and then vanishes. I' ve read up on it a bit and Pulsatile Tinnitus sounds like it could be the cause, but my drumming is not along with my heartbeat, it' s more of an irregular beat.

My ear feels kind of sensitive, and I feel a slight headache on the right of my head. Since yesterday my right nostril have been clogged, it wil suddenly start running, and I sneeze alot.

I also read that these symptoms occur mostly in older persons and I am only 23.

Thanks alot!

Dear Leello

It is important that you get a professional opinion as soon as possible. It would be advisable to see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. If you can't get an appointment soon, then see your GP in the meantime. It will also be advisable to have your hearing evaluated by an Audiologist after all medical possibilities have been excluded. Please let me know if you need a referral to someone in your area (izabellepieterse@gmail.com). These type of symptoms are not age related and the fact that you are hearing it more on the one side, is cause for swift action.

Please let me know if you need an further information

Kind regards
Izabelle Pieterse
