If the Audiologist did measure a negative pressure in his middle ears then i would recommend that you take him to a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist and have it looked at. It is always better to be on the conservative safe side when it comes to a child's hearing. There are a number of tests that one can do to determine hearing threshold for children and if we can't test them with the use of behavioral testing then there are objective tests that can be done. Please discuss these options with your Audiologist and if it can't be performed at that practice then ask for a referral. It is extremely important to get to the root of the problem as soon as possible. If you have any further questions or need some assistance with referrals, then please email me at email@example.com
