Q.

Cancer of the ear?

My 6yr old nerphew has been experiencing problems with his ears for months. The problem comes, then goes after some medication. Yesterday the dr said he suspects it might be cancer, but didn' t give more detail on what type of cancer it could be. he said we' ll only know after about a week.
My question is, what type of cancer is it more likely to be (if it is cancer), and can it be treated/cured?

Dear Lelo

I can not give you any medical opinions, but i would advise strongly that your nephew be seen by an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist and if necessary by an Oncologist as soon as possible. If there are any risks for cancer, one needs to get to the root of the problem.

Please let me know if you need any further information
