Blocked Ears and Lightheadedness

For almost 3 weeks I have been struggling with ligthheadedness, blocked feeling in my ears and a pressure feeling in my head. I''ve been to ENT - nothing wrong with my ears and sinus as well as to my GP - not high blood pressure.
What else can cause a blocked feeling to the ears if it is not one of the above. Can it be caused by spondylosis and disc degeneration of C5-C6 Level with belateral predominantly bony neuroforaminal stenosis (as per MRI report from last year).

I am desperate and not sure who to see to help me sort out this problem. Thanks

Hi Lala

THis does not sound good. As I am an Audiologist and not a Medical practitioner it is hard for me to respond. The symptoms usually appear as part of a few ear related probles: Middle ear infection, Menieres Disease are the two that show these problems the most.

These can also be symptoms of something else and will need to be examined by a Medical practitioner.
My suggestioon is that you have a second opinion from another ENT to rule out Menieres disease and then have a full evaluation at your GP to rule out anything else and receive the necessary referals for further management.

Good luck
