Q.

I had a Deviated Septum Operation way back in the 80'S and now I found out that I have patchy opacification of the right mastoid air cells, I had two Tympanostomy Tubes in my right ear in the last two

years and one other tube which the Dr. had to cut a hole in the ear drum. I have pressure in the ear so I had the last tube suck out and the pressure went away for 7 weeks and now I have the pressure in the right ear. My question is where is the pressure coming from was it due from that old surgery of the sinus in the 80's and now its effecting my ear because of the patchy mastoid air cells

Good Day Deborah

It sounds like your question is more suited to be answered by an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist and not an audiologist. I would ask the professional who took care of you 7 weeks ago (seemingly successfully!) when you consult them for your right ear.

Best of luck!
