ARV's vs infection

If someone is on ARV's for at least a year, can they transmit HIV to their partners?

The aim of taking ARVs is to lower the viral load - the number of HIV copies in the blood. The lower the viral load, the smaller the risk of HIV transmission. If someone is taking their ARVs well and the viral load is lower than detectable levels then they cannot transmit the virus to their partners
