This is the best time to start treatment. Remember that we now know that HIV causes inflammation. It affects the organs and we don't that to happen. Starting treatment decreases the viral load - the amount of HIV in the blood to undetectable levels. Tenemine and Edurant is very good first line treatment. It is taken once a day - provided you do not suffer from ulcers and do not use things like Gaviscon or Rennies. I give it to all my patients with viral load less than 100 000. I am very happy with this regimen so far. All the best!
