Q.

Should I take immune booster drugs together with anti-retroviral drugs?

I am a HIV patient. I am currently taking anti-retroviral drugs. But there has been serious viral disease outbreaks in my country. So.CE our immune system is generally weak, can I take immune booster drugs together with anti-retroviral drugs so that I will be protected from diseases. Or should I depend on multivitamins and the anti-retroviral drugs to save myself?

I generally discourage people that are living with HIV from taking so-called "immune boosters". If you are doing well on treatment and you have an undetectable viral load then a general multivitamin will suffice
