Q.

Female circumcision.

Is female circumcision also necessary due the the presence of the so called "unique" langerhans cells in the vagina? My understanding is that langerhans cells are also present in the vagina. With the logic used in the above article on male circumcision, does this mean females should also get circumcised to reduce the potential infection surface area?
