Colds and flu

Q.

Gas, nauseous, tingling limbs, tight throat.

My arms and legs are tingling, I have a lot of gas, my throat is getting tight, I have this chest pain (heartburn), I'm nauseous, really hot, and just not feeling right. I have GERD, and thought I was having an acid reflux flare-up, but antacids aren't working. Now I'm wondering if maybe its not acid reflux but something else like the flu.

Hi

Yes, I agree that this sounds like more than GERD. I suggest that, if you are still not feeling well, that you should rather go to the doctor. It might be flu or another viral infection, but I suggest that the doctor does an ECG as well if he/she thinks that it might be necessary. Heart disease can sometimes be masked by symptoms of GERD. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
