Dear sva
There are no trials showing that procydin can prevent progression to diabetes, and therefore I can' t recommend this as a treatment. The measures that have been shown beneficial are weight loss, regular exercise and a low fat, high fiber diet, although you could also use a low carbohydrate diet, or Mediterranean diet as well. There are medications used, but these are only tried if the glucose levels are progressing despite the aforementioned measures.
