gorrelroos - diabeet

Ek vermoed ek het gorrelroos, die uitslag wat soos waterpokkies lyk. Ek is 'n diabeet, is daar 'n ooreekoms.

With diabetes the immune system is compromised, and patients are at higher risk for getting zoster. Zoster is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox, and then remains in the nerve cells waiting for the immune system to be affected for it to then make its appearance.
