Q.

Energy boost after insulin injection?

I was wondering whether someone with diabetes gets a sudden energy surge after injecting themselves with insulin? ie when the blood glucose rushes into the cells?

Dear Anon

Yes, it is possible to feel energy getting better, as it is the lack of glucose getting into the cells that makes one feel tired. Normally this isn’t felt as a rush , but an improvement in energy over days
