Diabetes / Painful joints

I''m a 47yr old lady with type 2 diabetes, taking Metforal, Degranol, Insulin and Neurobian. Lately I have been suffering from, knee and hip jont pains. My knees are very stiff and the hip pain joint is more severe when I lie down or sit. What could be the course, my sugar level is well controlled.

Your joint pains don’t sound like they are diabetes related. It may be osteoarthritis or another type of inflammatory arthritis, and therefore I suggest seeing your doctor for a formal assessment.
