Q.

Blood glucose

I recently went to doctor due to passing out and dizziness and feeling ill for months.Doc did a sugar test and it was 6.1. I had eaten about 4 hours before. Is this ok? Doc says its normal? He also found a problem with my heartbeat after ECG and stress test. I do have hypertension. I am 46 and weight is about 53kg and height 1.62m. My father had Diabetes.

A random blood glucose of 6.1 would suggest that your glucose levels are fine, as they should be less than 7.8 to be normal. A level of 11.1 or higher would be indicative of diabetes.
