At what stage is one certified diabetic?

What are out of range glucose levels? When is one considered diabetic, requiring treatment?

When you have symptoms of diabetes and you have a random glucose >/= 11.1 mmol/l or a fasting glucose >/= 7.0 mmol/l or a 2hour glucose of >/= 11.1 mmol/l during a glucose tolerance test, it is diagnosed as diabetes. When your glucose is abnormal you require treatment.
