Q.

allergy

Hi, I am a 60 year old man and I have been a Type 1 Diabetic for the past 28years. I am currently using levemir and nova rapid and glucophage. I am also on renitec. I work in a powerstation and I think the ash is giving me an allergy or sinus. What can I buy over the counter that I can drink daily without it intervering with my sugar levels. what multivitamin can you recommend for me. I need something that will give me energy, because I am tired all the time.

Thank you for your time.

Dear William

If you are suffering from hayfever, then an antihistamine, which is available over the counter, is an option.

An alternative for the nose is a steroid nasal spray. Regarding a multivitamin, there are many options available, and essentially all are fine.
