Q.

Adrenal Failure/Adisson''s Disease

At first I just though I suffered from Hypoglyceamia and very low blood pressure now that all my symtopms are starting to seriously affect my quality of life after a stressfull time and carcrash I started researching on the net. Taking all previous diagnosis from docters into consideration, it now seems that they all just saw one thing and never the bigger picture. I need to know where I can find a expert on adrenal glands in South Africa please. I stay in North West and do not mind to travel to find the right docter as I''m desperate to regain my life.

HI Mareza

True hypoglycemia is a condition of which there can be a few causes, of which Addison’s is one of them.

To get to the bottom of this, I would suggest an endocrinologist, and there are some in Pretoria and Johannesburg. For a list of names, I suggest contacting Shelley, the secretary of the Endocrine Society on shelley@semdsa.org.za
