Q.

I have dry eyes and dry throat when I am asleep.

It's been for a while now since it started. My eyes become very dry when I am asleep and my throat also. I do not know what the cause is. I am diabetic and I have blood pressure as well. I don't know perhaps it's linked to the above diseases. Help me please. I is very uncomfortable.

Hi

Dry eyes and mouth in diabetes may have multiple causes(drugs, nerve damage, poor diabetes control etc). There may also me non-diabetes related causes, like obstructive sleep apnoea with snoring and mouth breathing at night causing a dry mouth. There may be other autoimmune conditions as a cause. Treatment would depend on the likely cause. It is not within the scope of this forum to make a diagnosis and treatment plan. You would need to see your doctor for a formal diagnosis and management plan. For the dry eyes, you could try some form of 'natural tears' available from the pharmacy until you get to see your doctor
