20 months baby with diabetes

what are the chances for a 20 month old baby who is on insulin pump to outgrow diabetes?

Not likely - you have different causes for diabetes - type 1 or auto-immune where the pancreas Beta cells are affected and this is the most common cause for diabetes in children - this form the child can not outgrow. Then there are other very rare conditions such as receptor abnormalities or secondary diabetes - this can depend on the underlying condition. But in general it is unlikely.
