Lynn Ferreira and her family chose to allow us a glimpse of their long and very arduous battle against cancer which sadly ended for Lynn on 16 March 2009.

In December 2007 Lynn was diagnosed with two tumours – a biopsy and more scans diagnosed them as metastatic melanomas.

Through all the months of harrowing treatment and its attendant side-effects, Lynn kept us updated with an honest, and often funny, account of each step in Lynn’s Cancer Diary as she battled the illness.

On behalf of Health24 and all of our readers, we thank the Ferreiras for sharing their story with us, and we wish Lynn peace. Our thoughts are with the family.
