Pippa Mullins works for the dietetics practice in South Africa, Anne Till & Associates.
Mullions worked previously in the UK as a dietician for 2 years and, on returning to South Africa, she was able to develop her interest in sports nutrition while employed at the Rosebank and Morningside Centre for Sports Medicine. Mullins has recently completed a 2-year specialisation course in Sports Nutrition with the International Olympic Committee, and in 2008 she attended the “International Beijing Olympic Games where the latest research in sports medicine and nutrition was delivered.
An athlete herself, having competed in Olympic distance triathlons and Half Iron Man, Mullins has done a number of sport nutrition reviews for Discovery, cycling club and running club websites. She has also presented sports nutrition talks at the CNE’s in Johannesburg and Stellenbosch University, high schools in Johannesburg, the “Jake White Winning Ways Coaching Conferences”, Sports Physiotherapy Specialization Course, Discovery Vitality’s “Youth Coaching and Nutrition Convention’ and at a “SASFoST” conference on FIFA 2010 World Cup as well as presenting on radio 702.
