Spring is in the air. And so are a thousand allergy-causing pollens. This is bad news for the growing number of people suffering from allergies. And there are many: at least one in five South Africans suffer from hay fever, asthma, eczema or other forms of allergies.
Take action:
Limit your outdoor activity between 5am and 10am, as pollen levels are at their highest during that time.
Also stick to holidays in areas with low pollen counts (such as the seaside) and stay away form freshly cut grass.
