Q.

MY SON AND ADHA

My son is 8 years old and I have tried various homeopathic medicines but I have not had any joy. It appeared to work when he started to take the medication but after 3 months was back to normal. He has been on Eye Q for a long time but Ithere has not been any change in his behaviour. I think the Eye Q is a good source of essential oils. He has not been put on Ritalin 15mg. It works for about 5 hours and thereafter you can see the medication wearing off. I have been thinking about using the Ritalin LA. In closing I would like to mention that his teacher has confirmed that he performs really and can do better hence I decided to take him to see a nurological paeditrician. Appreciate any comments.

Dear Vivienne,

Ritalin LA was designed to have longer effects and has a more gradual rise and fall of effect than its short acting counterpart.

I'll leave this open for other parent's comments.

You should give the Ritalin LA a try as Delia suggests as it is a good option and has a slow release effect like Concerta which you could also try
