Dear Kholeka,
Please see my reply to Audrey. It is not uncommon for an 8 year old to be easily distracted; placing her close to the teacher and implementing a reward system for good behaviour (which includes good listening, following instructions, being quiet durng work time, helping the teacher, having good manners etc) may help her to control her behaviour and concentrate. She would need a full assessment to determine whether she has ADHD.
Best wishes.
