Dear Jeanette,

With diagnoses such as those, I am assuming your child is on medication? Bipolar is particularly difficult to manage without medication.

That of course will not solve everything and can only begin to imagine the kind of stress your family is under on a daily basis. I recommend consulting a family therapist who can assist all of you to better manage living together and instilling boundaries. You can also contact FAMSA at www.famsa.org.za.

Kind regards,
Delia
