Dear Rahila,

I assume RDS is Respiratory Distress Syndrome? As I am not a medical doctor I cannot comment on this in relation to ADHD.

As a first port of call I would consult the specialist monitoring your son to determine whether the symptoms he displays are typical of RDS. From there, if you still suspect ADHD, please consult a psychologist, psychiatrist or neurologist. A psychologist will be able to conduct an IQ test.

Kind regards,
Delia
