The dark side of ADHD

Children with ADHD are prone to risk-taking, which can mean lots of visits to the emergency room.


Besides having to attend many teacher-parent conferences, parents of ADHD children may also find themselves spending more time at the emergency room than other parents. 

Children with ADHD tend to take more risks than their peers, but there are ways to short-circuit dangerous behaviour and minimise the risks.
