Most men will spend at least one day a week in the bathroom with a razor. Even great men, like Chuck Norris.
This is because many men feel that they need to keep their facial hair under control.

For many cultures, a long, bushy beard is a sign of wisdom, virility and all round manliness. For many others, it’s a sign you’ve just been kicked off Survivor.
However, not all men can sport a perfectly trimmed face-mane, as the growth rate, thickness, colour and shape of your beard is solely reliant on genetics. So while you may closely resemble a mountain yeti, the guy next to you may not even be able to bud a puny moustache.
A beard for all
A beard may have been groovy in the 60’s, but these days men prefer a cleaner look. Many alternatives have sprouted including, Elvis burns, Chin jungles, Magnum P.I’s, handle-bars and the ever popular Goatee.
But don’t laugh off beards just yet. Growing one means you don’t ever need to shave - only trim it into shape every now and then. A beard also provides extra protection for your skin, but needs to be washed regularly to avoid unwanted visitors, like lice.
Whatever you choose to do with your beard ultimately leads to one thing – a change in your style. Consider it a free accessory that can be moulded at your whim on a weekly basis.
The fact remains that you as a guy should shave on a regular basis - unless hobo mimicry is your thing - and like most of us, you probably hate it. But there are things you can do to make the whole shaving experience a little easier. Learning how it all works and how to shave correctly can make this bathroom ritual at least bearable. Visit our shaving section now, and find out how to master that razor.
Interesting facts
Your beard, which includes your face and neck, contains between 7,000 and 15,000 individual hairs.
Each of these hairs will grow 140mm on average per year.
You’ll end up spending over 3,000 hours shaving, and will remove over 8 meters of stubble.
Of all the hair on your body, your beard grows the fastest, and if you never shaved, it would grow to more than 10 meters in length.
