Take action:
Think positively; get active – exercise releases the feel-good hormone, endorphin, into the bloodstream; watch your eating plan and try to control weight problems; relax with meditation, yoga or other relaxation exercises – this will decrease tension and anxiety, and improve sleep; play some music – turn it up loud, dance and sing along; play with a pet or young child – pets have a calming effect and playing with a child can take you back to carefree days; share your feelings with friends and family; and get professional help if the problem persists.
