Winter relief for moms

Even kids live in the fast lane.  Going from pre-school and school to after-care and extramural activities with laden backpacks, every day they’re exposed germs and viruses carried by schoolmates, friends and strangers.

That’s where PharmaChoice’s new improved ViralChoice Junior comes in: it combines the best of nature and science to boost our immune systems.

Schools are “danger zones” for potentially infectious bacteria and viruses, says PharmaChoice spokesperson and pharmacist Liezl van Tonder. When the children's immune systems are robust and the viral exposure is relatively limited, they shrug off any attacks. But when the viral contact is repeated and quite heavy, or times when their immune systems are compromised such as at the change of season, they can succumb to colds and flu.

Van Tonder  says that children are particularly vulnerable because of their continuous exposure to other kids and the physical nature of their interactions on the sports fields and playgrounds.  Mothers end up feeling desperate as the little ones sniffle all the way through winter and sometimes go on to develop bacterial infections and other complications.

She recommends immune-system boosters like ViralChoice Junior, which comes in kid-friendly flavours, and contains magic ingredients including :

  • Echinacea extract: Increases the body's natural resistance to infections, particularly against cold and flu.
  • Green tea: a powerful antioxidant which helps inhibits bacterial growth and infection.
  • Rosehip: one of nature’s richest sources of vitamin C, Contains bioflavonoids which support the benefits of vitamin C.
  • Vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D and E, which play various roles in fighting susceptibility, improving metabolism of nutrients, and aiding recovery.
  • various other nutrients which boost immunity, enhance action of enzyme systems, cut stress, and work as antioxidants.

The supplement contains no sugar or alcohol, so it won’t make children hyperactive or sleepy.
