Pass your exams with flying colours

It's that time of the year again – not only for Matrics, but for many others as well. Experts reckon that exams are one of the most stressful of experiences we routinely endure. Luckily, there are effective ways to cope with the stress.

Take action:
Take heart that a modest amount of stress and anxiety can provide valuable stimulus that will get you to study and prepare; take control of the anxiety and decide to control what you can control – don't waste time getting worked up over the elements you can't control; avoid negative thinking – instead of arguing with yourself about how awful everything is and how you feel sure you'll fail, rather strike up a positive dialogue; exercise moderately, eat and rest wisely.
