We bust seven skincare myths that you may still believe.

Your skin is made up of three layers: the epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous tissue. The most delicate skin is found around your eyes – it’s as thick as a few sheets of paper – while the skin on your feet is as thick as a pencil eraser.

And, did you know your skin is the heaviest organ in your body? Most adults’ skin weighs in at about 9 kg. Of course, this will vary from person to person and depend on how much skin you have.
