One of the biggest stress busters is having something to look forward to. Even a weekend away can reduce your stress levels, and with all the public holidays coming up, the time is right. And it does not have to cost you a fortune.
Do a house swop with friends, or club together and rent a large farmhouse. The brave can go camping, although it might be an idea to wait a month or three for the summer. A break doesn't have to mean total luxury. It's the change in routine that is actually energising. Pack a bag, a book, a braai grid and a pack of cards. Have fun. It might even cost you less than when you stay at home.
