Have a cool green laundry day

You do about 100 loads of washing a year. Make them green and economical.

By far the biggest percentage (up to 90%) of a washing machine's energy consumption goes into just heating the water. Save energy on doing laundry by washing your clothes in cold water, or using the warmer wash settings less often. Washing in cold water helps your clothes last longer and will usually be quite sufficient to get them clean.
