Run with the wind

Finish your jog with the wind at your back

Before you head out for a jog or walk, check the direction of the wind and plan your workout so you run into the wind for the first part of your journey, suggests the Mayo Clinic.

Complete the second half of the session -- when fatigue is slowing you down, your body is generating less heat and you're the sweatiest -- with the wind at your back.

If the weather is particularly cold, move at a comfortable pace. Don't push your endurance level. – (HealthScout News)
