Stick to that fitness resolution

Is getting fit at the top of your New Year's resolution list? Make sure it doesn't become another one of those resolutions that lasts only a few days. Exercise is one of the best ways to give your body a powerful health boost.

Take action:
Start with the level of exercise you can manage without stressing yourself – don't try to run the Comrades in the first week. Get comfortable with the type of exercise you've selected. If you find that you don't like going to the gym, stop and change over to another form of exercise that better suits you. Once you feel fully confident with the type of exercise you're doing, try increasing the intensity gradually, so that you can reach a higher level of fitness.
