If one of your New Year's resolutions is to be more active, why not consider jogging? Jogging is a great form of weight-bearing exercise that requires little more than a pair of running shoes and a positive attitude.
Take action: First check with your doctor that running is the right activity for you. When you start running, keep your head level and avoid bouncing. Also lean forward slightly from the ankles – not from the waist. Strike the ground first with your heel, then roll to the ball of your foot, pushing off from the toes. Keep your shoulders down and relaxed.
