Colin - have you ever thought that this is the reason why you sit with a moaning wife? Maybe it''s her way of getting back at you for always dragging skeletons of cows out of the ditch? Or maybe she feels that she needs to moan, because your stuck in 1969 and therefore can''t hear her voice from the distant 2012?

And why would anyone want to live in the past? learn from it, sure, examine it, sure. but actively wishing for it? there is a problem there, can''t you see?

I''ll also have you know that the Health24 admin refer people (women and men) to the man talk forum, so maybe, the health24 admin are the people you should be speaking to if you have gripes. I''m sure that if enough men ask for a ''men24'' section, they''ll be happy to oblige.

Woman as a MAN I do want a MAN TALK where we are free to chat about anything affecting men from divorce to sex, with out interferance.
A real guy forum!!!!!!!

I have seen so many of my friends destroyed or getting a raw deal in the past that I care

All woman forums are treated as such, NO GUYS go onto the forums and talk rubbish about female issues, problems or even just attack woman

Yes, now I remember, it was Colin who explained the dynamics to us! ( and then, all the proverbial old cows came out of the ditch and there was a biiiig blow-up up and Man Talk died for about 6 months, right Colin? Oh and then there was the Matt saga... You also brought up that one, didn''t you Colin?) Now we hear of yet another trouble maker from you Colin, thank you for keeping the history of Man Talk, you herewith get the historian cap!

I would want to remind you that it is now 2012, and hopefully all those people from way back in 2006 have grown up a little, or has grown as people a little. 6 years is a long time, are you still exactly the same person? And if you are, why on earth would you want to stop growing and learning?

Either way, it seems there is a great couple of women (and men) currently chatting, so whenever you gentlemen feel like pitching in, feel free. I am pretty sure we don''t bite (hard, at least).

Man Talk was started in March 2006 and the name ment exactly that MAN TALK, I was there at the begining.
The few woman who joined treated all the guys and topics with the gtreatest of respect.
Every thing from politics, sex, sport was discussed.
It was one of the most popular sites H24 ever had

That did not last long
It was damaged by woman (Kate aka KeL) fighting every woman to be the big bitch, the Queen bee, The dominate female.
Then they started turning on men.
Attacking every comment, disrespecting every guy, ganging up to run men of the site who did not bow before them.

Even now, although we have some great ladies popping on now and again many woman only come on the site to dis guys
I can never unserstand that, if you hate men why come here????

A smart person once, when we were discussing this same subject, explained the term " Man Talk"  in syntax. It could mean any one of the following:

1) Men speaking about things that interest men
2) Women asking men''s advice
3) men and women talking about men''s behaviour, thoughts and interests
4) Men and women taling about every day interests

The definition of forum is :fo· rum/& #712 fô r& #601 m/
Noun:
A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged. (accorrding to google)

The definition of public according to google is pub· lic/& #712 p& #601 blik/
Adjective:
Of or concerning the people as a whole.
Noun:
Ordinary people in general  the community.

Therefore a public forum definition will be a virtual meeting place for ordinary people in general where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

And knowing that these forums were named years ago when health24 came into existence, the title Man Talk can only be seen as a broad description.

It is silly to expect women to shut up or stay away, since this is not the middle east or the middle ages. In short, If you want to talk, talk. If you want and ''exclusive men''s club'' , search for a private, paid forum, where women are not allowed.

However, since Man Talk is a free, public forum, the women are here to stay. Either you can live with it, or you can''t. Your choice.

And another thing, just so you know: the so-called ''old man talk'' has evolved into this. The ''old man talk'' is history. And so is all the ''old man talk'' politics and issues. Grow with the forum called Man Talk, or find yourself another place to chat, the choice is yours, this is a public forum after all.

The guys here don''t talk much. End of story. If they did ths would again be Man Talk. Instead they just keep quiet and respond to women''s posts. Talk more if you want see more posts from guys. Its not like we are able to post and you are not.
