I haven't experienced wii yoga personally so can't comment from a comparison point of view, however, it is always advisable to study yoga with a qualified teacher. The input a teacher can offer in a class setting directs comments and corrections to you personally taking into consideration your body type and your habits and limitations. You can go wonderfully deep in a yoga practice with the support of a yoga teacher.

Failing a studio nearby, or the time to attend class, wii could be a great alternative but is not a substitute for the knowledge and experience and community you will receive from being in a class environment, as yoga is a rich diverse subject that has been summarised into a wii experience. If you can't get to a class environment, perhaps you could organize for a teacher to come to you and offer private sessions inbetween your wii yoga sessions.
