I am sorry Annie, don't know how this one fell through!
A burning mouth can be caused by acid reflux, high sugar levels, oral yeast infections and vitamin shortages (especially vit B). I am however worried about the burning pain in his chest which could be a sign of heart disease (angina). Please take him to your doctor for an ECG and also for an examination of the mouth to see if it could be a yeast infection or reflux causing the burning pain?
