Whiteheads

I have numerous whiteheads (although I seldom get pimples) on my chin and both sides of my nose. If left alone they simply get bigger and leave me with what feels like a " bumpy"  skin as well as being unsightly. I have tried everything to get rid of them - steaming, medicated facewashes, masks, scrubs, etc. without any success - gentle squeezing seems to be the only remedy (too much pressure results in a weeping, crusty sore) but they return within a week. How do I get rid of them permanently?

Hallo Diane
Whiteheads are skin pores blocked by sebum (skin oil) If they are open to air a chemical reaction with oxygen causes blackheads, if closed up, it becomes white heads. Never squeeze them, rather see a beautician to show you how to remove them with a comedone remover. You can also use something to reduce sebum production like oxy 10 or Benzac jel.
