Q.

White willow bark and Warfarin

Hi

I am on 5mg Warfarin per day to prevent a third DVT. What effect will white willow bark have on my INR? My INR is 2. How much white willow bark (an ingredient in USN Phedra-cut) can I consume without a problem?

Thank you

Dear Jan

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

I confirm that you can safely take 200mg White Willow Bark, four times daily. Also note that I can not find any interactions between Warfarin and White Willow Bark.

Kind regards
