White spots

My 6 + 4yr old have these little white spots. The 6yr old started with a couple more than a year ago, then she got more. I took her to the doctor and 2 pharmacists and they said it looks like warts. I have been trying a homeopathic ointment for about 6 wks and some of them blistered and then popped but she still has a lot on her legs and arms. The 4 year old started about 2 mths ago. He has on his neck and 2 on his tummy. The clinic sister had a look at it today and said it is not warts and that I should take them back to the Doctor as it could be a virus. No-one else in the family has it. What could these be?

Hallo Mary
It is very difficult to guess without seeing it. It may be molluscum contagiosum - see http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvrd/molluscum/overview.htm
Maybe you should take them to a dermatologist if the doctors aren't sure about the diagnosis
